Yay! My fave... Children's Books!
A few years ago I picked up a really cute book called the Little School Bus.
My first graders love it.
The book is a simple rhyming book and we get really
into it and add a little tune to the read aloud.
They ask for a reread every day the first week.
This is another cute book and I read it the first day of school and add a writing activity.
This year I plan on doing a Kevin Henkes author study and this classic is on my list.
and every summer for some personal PD I like to skim through this great teacher resource.
